Pop's Favorite Pecan Pie Recipe


  • 1/2 Cup Butter Melted
  • 1/2 cup white Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Brown Sugar
  • 1 cup Light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup Steen Syrup
  • 4 Eggs, beaten
  • 1 Tsp Vanilla extract
  • 1/4 Tsp Salt
  • 1 Unbaked Pie Crust (I like Pillsbury)
  • 1 to 1 1/4 cups pecan halves (1/2 Chopped)
  • 1/2 tsp Cinnamon
  • 2 pinches of Nutmeg


  1. Combine butter, sugar, Steen's and corn syrup; cook over low heat, stirring constantly, until sugar dissolves.
  2. Let cool slightly. Add eggs, vanilla, cinnamon, nutmeg and salt to mixture; mix well.
  3. Pour filling into unbaked pastry shell, and top with pecan halves. Bake at 325 degrees for 50 to 55 minutes.
