Cajun Chili

Cajun Chili Recipe


  • 2 tablespoons Chili powder
  • 2 cans Tomato sauce (8 oz.)
  • 1 Rib celery, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons Flour
  • Salt, pepper, garlic to taste
  • 1 pound Ground beef
  • 1 large Onion, chopped
  • 2 cups Water
  • 2 tb Worcestershire sauce


  1. Brown meat, onion and celery. Add water, tomato sauce, Worcestershire sauce, chili powder, garlic, salt and pepper.
  2. Cook about 30 minutes over medium heat. Mix flour with a little water and add to chili. Cook until thickened.
  3. Serve Chili with or with out rice that has been already cooked.
  4. Serve with extra onions, cheese and cornbread if desired.

Yield: 1 Serving.
